New information added most weeks.  Look at the new photos in the gallery.

Girls' Brigade  is an international, uniformed, Christian organisation which first started in Ireland in 1893.

Our motto is "Seek, Serve and Follow Christ".

The village of King's Sutton is three miles from Banbury in Oxfordshire, close to Charlton and Middleton Cheney. We are part of the Northamptonshire District of Girls' Brigade.

We have around 35 members at the moment - aged between 5 and 18.

                             Why not join us?

The different sections
  • Explorers - aged 5 - 8

We are between 5 and 8 years old.  Sometimes we go out on trips. We enjoy playing games, doing colouring and chatting to each other.  We had an evening cuddling guinea pigs recently.

  • Juniors - Aged 8 - 11

We have 10 Juniors - they are a lively, friendly group of girls who all enjoy Friday nights.  Juniors have the opportunity to go on Summer Camp and on trips such as the panto, and also sleepovers.

  • Seniors - aged 11 - 14

We are between 11 and 14 years old - school years 7 - 9.  We enjoy learning new things, but are happy just to meet our friends on a Friday night.  We like to think that we are grown up - but not too grown up to have fun !

  • Brigaders - aged 14 upwards

We are a typical bunch of teenagers who like meeting new people, music, dvds, food and relaxing.  We can also help out with the younger girls, which is rewarding but tiring.
